Create & Edit Listings

1. Overview of Creating and Editing Listings

• Listings are the foundation of your Rentals setup. Each listing represents a rentable item—like a car, property, or piece of equipment—and contains all associated details such as pricing, duration, and stock availability.
• You can create listings quickly using the New Listing modal and later configure more advanced settings using the Edit Listing page.

2. How to Create a New Listing

• 1. Navigate to Calendars → Calendar Settings → Rentals → Listings.

• 2. Click the '+ New Listing' button in the top-right corner. The New Listing modal will appear.

• 3. Fill Out Basic Listing Details: Listing Image, Listing Name (required), Description, Base Price & Booking Unit, Category, and Status.
• Tip: Keep listings inactive until you finish setup to avoid early bookings.

• 4. Once complete, click 'Advanced Settings' at the bottom to open the detailed setup. Here you are able to make edits covering General Information, Inventory & Pricing, Booking Settings, and Calendar Sync.

3. Editing a Listing

• 1. Go to Calendars → Calendar Settings → Rentals → Listings.
• 2. Click the edit icon (Pencil) next to the listing you would like to edit.

• 3. The Edit Listings Screen will open with four main tabs: General Information, Inventory & Pricing, Booking Settings, and Calendar Sync.

4. General Information & Inventory

• General Information lets you modify listing basics and visuals: Listing Image, Listing Name, Description, Category, Status, and Enable Listing Specific Form.
• Inventory & Pricing controls stock availability and variations.
• Variants allow you to offer different versions of the same listing (e.g., multiple car types). To add a variant, toggle on Variants, click '+ New', fill in Variant Name, Stock, Base Price, and Security Deposit, then click Confirm.

5. Booking Settings & Calendar Sync

• Booking Period determines how customers select dates and times. You can choose from Date & Time Selector, Date Selector (Date-Only Bookings), or Fixed Durations.
• Calendar Sync allows you to sync your rental listing bookings with external calendar platforms using an iCal URL to prevent double-booking.

• Once you've completed setup, click 'Save Changes', then 'View Booking Page' to preview, and activate the listing when it's ready to go live.
